ClassicPad Editor gives you a clean, familiar place to open, edit, search, and save everyday text files without the weight of a full development environment. It launches as a native Windows application and keeps the document at the center of the experience. Work with plain text, JSON, CSV, XML, HTML, Markdown, log, INI, and CFG files. Open a document from the menu, pass it to ClassicPad from Windows, or drag it onto the editor. Find and replace text with familiar shortcuts, toggle word wrap, and zoom from 10% to 500%. ClassicPad follows your Windows light or dark preference, remembers your view and window settings, and shows line, column, zoom, and text encoding in the status bar. UTF-8, UTF-8 with BOM, UTF-16 little-endian, UTF-16 big-endian, and Windows ANSI text are detected and handled locally. There are no accounts, advertisements, analytics, or cloud services.
